The most convenient way to practice Qigong in a group!

The internet makes it so convenient to do Qigong (chee-gong) in a group! Now you can get your first hour-long, live Qigong Movement and Meditation practice completely free. Check it out to see how well Qigong can work for you.

The classes are live, online, and led by Jan Tucker, a Spring Forest-certified level 5 Qigong healer/trainer.

Because you’ll participate from home, you don’t have to get motivated, get dressed, and get on the road! You’ll save so much time and you can relax completely when the session is over. With the live class, students say they feel the increased energy of group practice while we do the movements together online.

Jan holds this hour-long practice each Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time using Zoom.us. Drop in at your convenience or attend regularly—it’s up to you. You’ll also be able to develop your own practice with the movements you learn.

Qigong movements and Qigong meditations are both integral parts of Qigong healing. But Qigong is not just about healing. It’s also about maintaining your health and moving beyond—to peak performance if that’s your goal. Qigong meets you where you are and takes you to the next level.

We will practice the Qigong movements during each class for 35 to 40 minutes. The remaining portion of the hour includes a special Qigong guided meditation. The meditations help you hone your ability to use your mind and visualization to work with your vital Qi. You will find that using your mind is as crucial to your practice as doing the physical movements.

A little more about Qigong

During both types of practice, the Qigong movements and the meditations, you will cultivate Qigong energy and circulate it throughout your energy channels (meridians) and in and around your internal organs. This removes energy blockages that cause health issues and replaces the blockages with pure, universal energy. Qigong addresses physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual issues holistically. It treats each practitioner as a whole entity, directly addressing the root causes of your health issues on all levels.

Qi is your vital energy—it’s the life energy that keeps you alive and governs every movement in your body, all the way to the cell level. Universal energy, the energy that surrounds you, is the same as the energy that’s in your body. With Qigong, you use this universal energy to balance your whole body and each organ system to create optimal health, peace, pain-free living, and longevity. Qigong balances your yin and yang energy. It brings your body into balance—into a state where it can do what it was designed to do—to heal itself.

What Qigong movements do

Qigong movements resemble Tai Chi, but unlike Tai Chi (which is based on military movements), Qigong movements are designed specifically for healing and wellness. Each movement focuses on increasing the energy flow to a different internal body organ and organ system. The basis of our practice is to do the Chinese five-element movements. This addresses every major organ system in your body. Because our emotions are associated with our organs, our emotions are cleansed in the process.

As we do the movements, Jan will guide you to relax, feel the energy, and understand the value of the movement.

You will feel energized and peaceful at the same time. You’ll know you are doing something so healthy for your body, mind, and spirit. Qigong, practiced regularly, will keep you primed for optimal health. Almost every student also says they sleep far better, “like a baby,” after practicing Qigong.

What Qigong meditations do

Qigong meditations are special meditations that also help you balance your internal Qi or vital energy. For example, during the small universe meditation, you will guide your attention and your energy around 12 internal energy centers to balance your life force in every organ and chakra center. Balanced yin and yang energy results in longevity and lifelong well-being.

What both practices do together

During and after your Qigong Movement and Meditation class, you will feel energized, rejuvenated, lighter, more optimistic, and at the same time balanced, relaxed, and peaceful. People leave Jan’s classes smiling, happy, uplifted, alive, and peaceful.
